Midterm Format
Chem 121-Test on Ch 17 on Wednesday November 10 th.
Chem 122- Test on Ch 19.1 to 19.3 Next week Tuesday November 16 th
Chem 112- My plan was to continue on with new work today as I really must get the curriculum content covered that the Province Curriculum dictates, but I will assign some of this for homework over your 4 day weekend. This will enable us to do some more practise for the midterm.(Period 3 will have a Remembrance Day ceremony during this time slot on wednesday). Please check tomorrow to see what I have assigned for homework over the four days you have off.
Chem 121-We will spend some time doing group review for wednesday's test. The other part of the class we will collect data for finding the enthalpy of combustion for candle wax burning using the GLX s and Data Studio in the lab.
Chem 122-Assignment due today.We are going to start labs on tuesday(tomorrow). Would you please note that for Chapter 19.1 to 19.3, there will be a test next tuesday. We will go over a prelab today and highlight titrations. In class work will involve a quiz on the 5 step method(this will happen next monday) and going over the calculation questions from your homework friday(these questions are to be completed on looseleaf for tomorrow in order to gain entrance to the lab).

Chem 112 Today is your midterm. Please do not forget your calculator. You will be provided with a coloured periodic table and will do all work on the actual midterm paper. Period 3 will be told aobut the homework for the long weekend which is listed for wednesday.
Chem 122-Today you will start lab set 1 Reminder: No open toed shoes and No contact lenses Reminder Test on Ch 19.1 to 19.3 next tuesday
Please note: If homework questions are not ready to submit or major assignment given out last thursday is not submitted you will not be able to start your lab today. You will have to complete this first and consequently ou will have to do the lab at noon-hour.
Chem 121-You will have half of the class to do group review and half of the class to work on the candle lab. Reminder Test on Ch 17 tomorrow.

Chem 122-Lab Set 1 Day 2 Delayed until monday. We worked on test review for Ch 19 test in groups of three. Please remember that there is a test next tuesday on 19.1 to 19.3
I will post the answers to 6 b,c and 7 to 10 from long sheet below so that you can check these answers over before your test.
